What We’re Looking For
EdTA invites proposals from qualified teaching artists to serve as Teaching Artists in Residence at ITF 2026, the premier celebration of student theatre.
At the heart of ITF is the student experience. Each summer, thousands of young Thespians come together to explore every aspect of theatre, including performance, design, directing, stage management, and more. These sessions give students the chance to deepen their craft, explore new techniques, and discover fresh perspectives.
This summer, ITF will launch a new Educator Track, a program designed specifically for theatre educators who attend the festival with their students. While students immerse themselves in their own festival experiences, the Educator Track offers teachers a space of their own—a week of artistic exploration, growth, and renewal.
EdTA welcomes proposals for both the student and educator tracks.

Ready to Join Us at ITF?
The proposal submission window will close at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on December 10, 2025. Thank you to all who submitted workshop proposals! We look forward to reviewing the applications.
