Thespy Adjudicator Interest Form

EdTA is thrilled to offer students the opportunity to be adjudicated, and we are seeking adjudicators for Thespy submissions both virtually and in-person at ITF. 

What You'll Do:
  • Review/observe and score Thespy presentations/submissions
  • Use provided rubric to evaluate submissions against a variety of criteria
  • Provide brief constructive feedback as appropriate
  • Complete all adjudications according to pre-determined schedule
Time Commitment - In Person:
  • June 22 - 24, 2026 IN PERSON Indiana University, Bloomington, IN
  • Volume of adjudication assignments may vary based on areas of expertise and number of registrants in each category
  • Adjudications will be primarily be scheduled in minimum 2-hour blocks
Time Commitment - Virtual:
  • Flexible, remote participation
  • Volume of adjudication assignments may vary based on areas of expertise and number of registrants in each categor
Ideal for Individuals Who:
  • Are dedicated to the education and growth of theatre students.
  • Want to support the Thespys program and ITF
  • Have experience in theatre education, adjudicating, performance, and/or technical theatre.

The adjudication training takes approximately 35 minutes and may be completed any time before May 13, 2026. Instructions will be provided following adjudicator selection.
